Constructing Excellence in Wales is seeking input from the industry to help develop an assessment tool for the C21 schools programme. This tool will make use of evidence from Estyn and post occupancy evaluations to review the educational outcomes in schools receiving capital investment in their new buildings / refurbishments.

If you feel your organisation has an assessment methodology which could help inform our work, please provide an Expression of Interest outlining what your organisation can contribute to our discussions by being part of our working group. Please email details through to: anne.sharp@cewales.org.uk by 21st April 2015.

Please be aware that should you be invited to join the working group, a representative of your company will be expected to join CEW at their offices in Cardiff for four workshops as detailed below:

Workshop 1 – 21st May –  each company presents their current methodology, outlining the benefits and limitations of the process

Workshop 2 & 3 – 11th & 25th June – extracting good practice from existing assessment process and creating new C21 schools assessment tool

Workshop 4 – 16th July –  final presentation of proposed assessment methodology, outlining how it will work, be populated and used by WG for reporting and data analysis

They look forward to hearing from you in due course. Should you have any queries, please can do not hesitate to contact Jane, Ed or Anne Sharp. anne.sharp@cewales.org.uk by 21st April 2015.
